A collection of fault codes.

Featured Replies

Sat in the Octavia right now I'm looking at the following fault codes:

16502 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Signal too High

00932 - Electric Window Motor: Drivers Side (V147)

62-10 - No or Incorrect Adjustment - Intermittent

00929 - Locking Module for Central Locking: Front Passenger Side (F221)

27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

The first wasnt really a suprise as its a documented fault on here and the CEL light is on.

The second and third faults are, however, ones that are new to me. Possibly relating the the driver's side window thinking its hit something and rolling back 70% of the time.

Any ideas on the third?

Could you please post a complete Auto-Scan? I bet I do have some solutions for these, but that requires more information from the car.

I dont have the full scan as I have now cleared the codes from the car (and those above were posted while I was still in the car)

That sucks. As said, I do have some ideas how to solve these, but for precise/detailed instructions the conrol module data would be required.

FWIW, 16502 replace the coolant temperature sender.

Phil, further to your message on MSN last night that I didn't see until you were offline; I've never fitted a coolant temp sensor myself. However it's a very simple job by all accounts and when one was required on our Ibiza JBS did it labour free as it only took a few minutes.

Thanks, Eddy. Bengie has advised (based on experience) that its best done when the engine is cold because it is very easy to get burnt
