Mine was hanging off so I peeled it off.

I was going to glue it back on but wondered what the best adhesive to use for it.

The badge is aluminium and the cap is plastic. I tried polystyrene glue but it just fell off? Does it need to be a flexible glue?

How much is a replacement?

Had this happen twice now, first time lost the cap, hence @£7 to buy a new complete cap from stealers, second time found it hanging off so used araldite type adhesive, its still there, never thought about claiming on warranty tho and car is only just 2 years old:rolleyes:

Unless the fault is from neglect, misuse for modification then everything is covered (apart from the usual comsumables). Unless is says otherwise in the warrenty paperwork then its covered!

if all fails best thing to use is a 9 inch nail and a big mallet..... :rofl:

For a 9 inch nail, I'd go for a lump hammer and take a run at it....

It happened to my Octavia vRS when it was brand new , dealer ordered me a replacement without problems , under the warranty.

Anyone can help me to measure the diameter of aluminium wheel center hole of Octavia II? I have new original audi aluminium wheels and I want to change the cap of the wheels with skoda caps.

A wee while ago my girlfriend before we bought our fabia had a focus and we picked it up from the garage, on the way back she lost a wheel trim, told her to phone dealer and blame them for not sticking it on right, she got a full set of new wheel trims for the car saving her about
