There was a half page add in my saturday paper for cheapo Octavias and Fabias.

I noticed they had no fog lamps or electric windows on the rear doors. Probably had no bidet either , maybe not much in the line of toys.

Are they knocked out as cheaply as possible just to be sold in these half page Saturday paper adds ? If so why ?

TAXI

There's always a market for boggy standard models with no toys, especially among the older generation (or so I understand it).

It's also great for any brand to be able to say "from £9,990" or whatever amount, even if the model which costs that price is bought by hardly anyone.

When we were down in Glasgow recently I noticed quite a few 06 reg MarkI Octys, at least they had the MarkI grille. They were all taxis by the way so maybe some were kept back specifically for the taxi fleets. :confused:

Skoda are still building the mk1, but only in tdi classic trim, just for the taxi market!

Dont worry mark if it wasnt for the fact that I have to transport my disabled daughter, I wwould probibly have a Fabia VRS with al the toys That is if SWMBO would let me
