Is it true? (Parking ticket holder)

Featured Replies

So is it true that the Fabia has a holder to put in a parking ticket saving the need to get sticky rubish all over the glass? Any pics would be good to see if this can be put in an Ibiza!

Yes, but I believe it is bonded in with the windscreen making a retro fit a bit dificult.

Yes, it looks like is is wedged between the wind screen and pillar - its a nice touch which gets used quite a lot in mine.

If nobody else doesn't post a photo before tomorrow I'll get one for you

Certainly is true. I'll try and get a picture of it tomorrow.

Yep it is great. Was on the 0353VRS Fabia, i like it, and so handy.

IIRC from another thread, it is screwed in with a single solitary screw behind the A pillar cover.

Dont know what all the fuss is about tho really, I've never ended up with 'all that sticky gunk' on my windscreen?

Why would you go to the trouble of trying to fit one on an Ibiza? They seem rather pointless to me. Ive never used it and probably never will

it's not april fools day today is it???????

It's not for the parking ticket anyway. It's in case you stopped for speeding, you just pop a

Just saw an advert once for a Fabia vRS and all it said was that it had this ticket holder and I thought that's a strange thing to advertise when there are many other things of interest. Must just be the car park I use that seems to leave loads of glue behind.

I never stick tickets to my window... just lay them ontop of the dash. ;)

There's a pay and display carpark in chester where i used the same ticket pretty much every weekend for 14 months before i got a caught, by then i'd saved more than enough to pay the

you've paid to park in Chester

I only ever pay to park Chester when I've got the girlfriend with me. For some reason she always wears the 'wrong shoes to walk in' so we have to park closer.

I'm starting to think she works for the council!

i thought women always wear the wrong shoes , strappy sandals in winter , Ugg boots in the summer , LOL

On the left of the windscreen. Not so clear on picture, but this is the only pic with this thing ;)

Quite a trivial addition but I have to say very useful (on Sciencebird's Fablon). Use it for barrier tickets when driving out of the car park, it's nice to hand without having to do the in seat aerobics or passenger seat/footwell treasure hunt for it when you've (now) got twelve cars queueing behind you!

Me too :D Much less effort than peeling the back off or sliding it into a ticket holder too

Chris

the octavia has it too and i use it everytime i park in a P&D car park. very handy little thing i think :)

Useless thing (If its for tickets) IMO. However Magic Tree air Freshners attach well if you dont like them dangling
