Jap stuff rattles in my experience:D

My VW rattles, my Felicias and my Fabia didnt.

Rovers shake rattle and roll [but, oddly, mine had a good engine/gearbox]

sorry, the golf clubs in the boot rattle but not the car

The only rattle in my last two Mk2 Octys was the baby seat in the rear!

My Fabia had plentiful rattles - but I have to put that down to the subwoofer, and me breaking numerous trim clips etc... :lol:

I had an Octy 2 vRS PD on demo all day yesterday, and even with the stereo set to Ch@v, not a single rattle. Bloody impressed I was, the overall quality was simply amazing imho.

Mine doesn't rattle. Apart from the CDs in the glove box. Account manager at work's A4 rattles though, and it's newer than my Skoda.

Something has started vibrating in the front passenger side door , and there is an odd creaking noise from the front suspension

If I ever get my new door seals (and if they work) this 2.0FSI will be one of the most faultless cars I've had. I don't have any of those rear seat clip rattles or dashboard creaks. Funny how these things show up on one car but not another.

Had rattles which I have managed to put right (apart from the door trims which the dealer put right. I hate rattles, drive me daft, I think it is just your luck with whatever you buy. Apart from that my Octy2 elegance estate has been faultless.I have a neighbour who insists on buying French cars because of the massive discounts and he could write a book on rattles AND BREAKDOWNS!!!!!

No rattles in either Fabia or Octy II. Really can't understand why some do and some don't. Is it the assembly of the car? Is it the fact that some people are far too fussy?

I think you may have hit the nail on the head there! Only car I've owned that rattled and squeaked was the Fabia which was surprising considering the "clunk" of the doors!

Mine has developed something similar. Could be the dreaded ARB creak.... must get it checked out.

Exactly as per my Octy 2. Going into Crawley Down next week for new seals.
