sat 14th october at santa pod.:)

Yeah I'm planning on being there. I haven't decided on which car I'll be bring though.

I bought a weekend run about/sh*tter and am tempted to give it a run. ('89 535i Sport Auto.) But which ever car, I'll be there weather permitting.

Jet car at night is awesome.

Does it start at the usual 9am?

I'm busy, but even if I were free I'm not sure I can get over the Pod busting my car..... Its like a bit of a curse.

Yeah gates open at about 8am, track usually opens by about 9:30 - 10am, and weather permitting it will stay open until 9pm.

Saturday Night Special

Experience the thrill of night racing at Santa Pod Raceway. The sights and sounds of the raceway are intensified by the night air. All types of vehicles, from hot rods to hot hatches, dragsters to bikes are invited to use the track for day and night racing.

The track is open from 9am-9pm (weather and track conditions permitting) with additional attractions of demo runs by a 270mph Jet Car, catering, bar facilities and evening entertainment. There is also free camping for those wishing to stay over for the Sunday Run What Ya Brung, and of course all clubs are welcome.

haha d'u know whats even better than watching night racing at santa pod?? Getting wasted in the dance tent at santa pod and messing about on the campsite!

But it is good when they race at night with all the spotlights etc

The weather looks like its going to hold. so I'll be there saggy eyed and limp tailed by 9:30am. This is one of the few things I'll give up my Saturday lie-in for.
