I'm about to join the happy band of Fabia vRS owners - I pick up my new Magic Black vRS with cruise and Ipod connector next week - cant wait!!!

Prevously owned a Honda 2.2 CDTi Executive ( company car - now changed jobs so gotta pay for this out of my own pocket :() so looking forward to comparing performance !

Hiya,

Got mine last week - they are great. Keep finding excuses to go out for a drive!! Didn't know ipod connector was an option - is that a very new thing?

Enjoy. Oh and buy lots of car cleaning products - had to clean mine Tuesday after only 5 days of driving - all this rain is doing my head in!!

The Ipod connector is a new thing for Skoda apparently - it appears in their brand new accessories brochure. In fact it was so new, the guy in the showroom didnt know what it did and had to unpack one to read the instructions !!

Hope it works OK

AM a bit worried about the black, but just feel it looks SOOOOO much better in black than the other colours.

I have bought a season ticket for the jetwash at our local garage !!!

Hello I have completely drained the cooling system to replace the coolant in my 1.4 MPI. To refill my Haynes manual says to remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder head to allow air to escape. I pulled out the clip and then lifted out the sensor which came out by pulling. I then filled the system until coolant was seen in the sensor hole. I then the replaced the sensor but noticed coolant leaking from it. On inspection noticed that the sensor was able to move up and down with the clip in

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought

Been here a little under 7 years. Great forum, I'm sure I'll hang around still but I've moved my octy on now for a VW Tiguan. The Octavia was a cracking car, reliable too. I took it from 47k to 120k miles, and it really didn't disappoint. The only issue it had was the heater matrix, which I had replaced eventually after freezing hands in winter!! It will pass to a new owner with full service history (Independent Vasstechnik in Eastbourne who are just great with all VW group cars). I've left
