I met my wingmirror spider

Featured Replies

Then I splatted the bugger! :rofl:

Actually, I just left it and I assume it retreated to the shelter behind the glass once I started heading home on the A38.... ;)

My wingmirror spider has invaded the inside of my car now. :eek: Must have laid some eggs and retreated back into the wingmirror when I had my windows down because I keep encountering spiders web in the car now! I've removed 1 spider so far from the inside, but I'm sure that one wasn't alone.

no spiders were harmed whilst filming etc etc blah blah blah

That looks like a lost spider, Awww, the sort that normally live on conifer trees etc. Can I suggest you tuck a leafy twig in the mirror and see if you can carry it to safety? :)

PS No shrubs have been harmed ..., well yet anyway :rofl:

Ive had a spider in my VRs for ages now. I call him Bob and he pops out from time to time from under the dash or seat. Being a firefighter i hoover the car 2 times a week and hes evaded death by hoover every time. Fair play to him whats what i say.

I thought i was the only one,my passeneger wing mirror keeps getting a web!Yet to meet the culprit,he/she will rue the day they do rear their head tho itl be the first and last meeting lol

You should be so lucky,

Lucky, lucky, lucky ;)

Just think of him/her as someone who loves you or your car :)

Brilliant thread !! :rofl::thumbup:

I've still got my 'wingmirror Spider' after a good 2 months now. He's evaded the jet wash many times spins his web most nights and they are far, far cleverer than any of us ! :rofl:

I think I have a pretty well travelled wing mirror companion, Spotted it before setting off for a few days away a couple of weeks ago travelled to the north coast of Scotland and back the tourist route for SWMBO's benefit 800 miles, spotted him/her when I got back, and then encountered it again today 2 weeks later and another 1000 miles on the clock, looking a bit plumper too :D

Either that or the original has been eaten by an invader ;)

I've got two, one on each wing mirror. I really can't get my head around it, my car is used regularly, and often at the NSL yet they are still there.
