Active Directory tools....

Me again... :o

What tools to AD gurus use for the actual management of users?

In our new AD at my company, there is a (custom) program that creates/disables users in accordance with our HR/LSM unix systems.. problem is these users are just "users" and dont have any of the defaults.. ie home directory, exchange box, TS profile location...

is there a way to create a "default" user template in AD?

also is there a program that can make specified changes to a whole bunch of users at once?.. its all being done manually at the moment and its really beginning to hack me off :thumbdwn:

Thanx in advance :)

don't know about creating default templates :o but you can use admodify to make bulk changes to users

:)

I've heard Hyena is pretty good.. although i tend to write anything custom in VBScript or create a Taskpad for our less tech savy Helpdesk people.
