I want to remove the original roof mounted aerial mast and change it with an alloy one. I've loosened it by swivelling, but couldn't take it off.

Please help! :(

There is just a small barb on the bottom which stops it coming out. One sharp tug and off it comes.

Looked at the one on the fabia in the scrapper near me, and it was bolted to the roof with a huge bolt. :eek: (from the underside obviously)
