he says with fingers crossed (& cheque book at the ready)

i've literally just bought it.

the only previous owner bought it brand new in 1972 & used it daily until 1982

since then it's been in his garage.

this is the first time its been outdoors since 1982!!!!

i'm going to knit it a scarf to keep it warm!

1955 - 1972

facelifted in 1961

models were just numbered 440 445 & 450

they became octavia, octavia super & felicia

ooh - you got it :D

lookin good - well, I'm sure it will ;)

I've got an owners manual for one of those :)

It makes for quite interesting reading.

yup i found the mention of ...

the uprated engine now develops 45bhp &

the 40-60 in 4th gear of 22secs

particularly eye catching

the previous owner took his family on holiday to portugal in it

towing a trailer tent over the pyrannees ....

once its up & running i'll be taking it to various shows

although i'm not sure if i'll bring it to any briskoda track days

as i think the vrs boys might not be able to keep up with it

couple more pix

these were taken in the previous owners garage

where it had stood for 25 years!
