Just got my car back from the dealer and the invoice says:

"carried out 5051 test"

Any one got any details as to what is involved with that?

5051 is our diagnostic machine.

You mean they plugged your car in said nowt wrong with it guvnor and sent it back to you still not working.

Typical of that place :(

If i get a chance i'll take you for a drive in mine so you know what it's like. Saying that the garage still remember me after i got a lot p*ssed off at them for breaking things that were not broken.

I have a feeling there is someone on site where I work with 110 TDi - had MAF problems a week or so back, so I will chase him initially for a drive... after that, however.

I am sure that I am not dreaming the lack of power (or that it used to be more responsive, etc)...

At least Weymouth beer festival helped me forget the pain!!!
