I bought this game about a year ago and got totally Sipped off with it as it was jerky and blocky and generallly Poo, so I hoyed it int cupboard.

After a major malfunction with my graphics card, and having a Radeon X1300 installed as a replacement, I thought I'd try it again today. Oh My God, what a diffference a decent graphics card makes! This game literally has the hairs on my neck standing up. It's very very good.

Anyone else got it? I miss the auto aim easibility of the PS2 FSP's but it's all good.

I enjoyed it, found a log in my trousers after a couple of sessions in the dark Prey was pretty good to, but both a bit "short".

Hopefully there will be a F.E.A.R 2 out soon.

Slightly OT, but Company of Heroes is pretty good for any WW2 buffs or RTS fans, my only gripe is that the Americans did WW2 all on their own it seems (This deserves a seperate thread )

Lol yeh I pld that game with me oced 3700+ @ 2.9 ghz and x800xl (oc naturally)

max Settingsish.... no soft shadows ....

1024x 768 4xaa bout 20- 75 fps

bout 45-50 in the stress test and on average though - not bad.

can't wait for my next upgrade lol - get an x1900xt 512 maybe if and when they get cheaper. (256 version is temping me as it is just 160 quit - 512 is like 260)

Or maybe I should wait untill DX 10.

Scared me too (5.1 ect, dark room on your own - TRY IT!! )- but the slow mo made it all better

Me too, and a quality tune it is too. "Music Of The Spheres" is a great album btw!

For those who don't know, its a rather clever song. Every line is a nemonic of "fear", with lyrics like "For each a role, for everyman a religion" etc. Love it.
