I'm trying to design a boot install that's "live-withable" and will still allow easy access to the spare and tool kit etc. I did this in my old car with great success (IMHO ).

I'm also gonna try to design in some cubby holes for the first aid kit and any odds and sods that need tidying away.

Anyway, I've done a search and read about a pre-out cable. Does anyone have a part no. and know how much it is?? Can it be used in conjunction with the ipod connector??

I've done this. it's not in at th moment but i'll get some pics for you tommorow or sunday.

sub box is on the left with false floor to house amp over the spare. still got bout 60% boot capacity (all i need most of the time) and acces to spare and tools is a 30second job. also stiill got access to the lugggage tie in the left wheel arch!
