Thanks, there's more been done to the exterior than a casual glance would suggest and the intention has always been for the car to look discrete. I think the main giveaway that the car may have a bit more go than standard is the big brakes sat behind the aftermarket alloys. Most people think it's a vRS though.

I wanna see some vids of this monster

I don't have a suitable camera and wouldn't even consider filming on public roads. However I do hope to be a Bruntingthorpe at some point in the future at which time I will see if I can sort something out.

Nice one Eddy - shame I dont have airfield access any more !

Supreme:)

give me a shout if need a camera Eddy, done a few films at brunters with the Ford Focus Owners club. Got a suction mount for the windscreen as well so you can concentrate on driving!

stunning mate, great results so far and only better to come, nice one

Thanks for the offer, it's appreciated. I'll be in touch when the opportunity arises.

Eddy, whats the max power/torque rating on the uprated Haldex unit ?

Holy f*ckin' ****...that's 911 Turbo territory figures

I'm not sure but it has a something along the lines of a pressure release valve so theorectically shouldn't have a problem if the torque gets too high. There's twin turbo'd R32's running way more than me on the same haldex so I'm not worried.

Not had a play with a 911 turbo yet, I have had a tussle with an F430 Spider though and I was happy with the result.

Only pic I have to hand is one of the finished conversion which I've attached.

EDIT: I've found a couple of old pics of the car too which I've attached, the main difference being it's now fitted with OZ Superlegerra's instead of the Oettinger RE's in the pic.

Thats tight, look forward to the videos.

Looks very OEM under the bonnet

especially when he saw the skoda badge from behind hey

gotta say i've seen this car in the flesh(allbeit a while ago @ jbs), very subtle ext. modifiactions -looks way better than the pics do it justice!!!

All the more impressive when you consider that car started life at 150bhp.

1.8 bar? That's MY steady max boost level!   Can't help but laugh! Shame I can't push my smog monster to those kind of levels. It seems 280 bhp is the now safe ceiling for pd130 tuning.

There was a PD150 at JBS at the weekend running a hybrid turbo at 2.4bar, it's still on the standard injectors though which are seriously limiting it's potential.

Just wondering how the car is going Eddy?

been any further tweaks since this thread started?

more RR plots?
