went to A&E, said theres nothing seriously wrong, just needs time to settle, and gave me some exercises to do and painkillers to take, I think I prefer the numbing effects of lager:rofl:

Am feeling really down today, the Nissan the garage gave me is awful, it stinks of dog cr*p, someone from the insurance rang me last night to organise a replacement car, I said I had one from the repairers and they asked if I was happy with it and if not they would organise for it be changed, and I said I wasn't really happy with it, said it was too big!, didn't mention the awful smell, anyway, they are arranging for another one to be dropped off today for me, only hope its in better condition, it doesn't exactly inspire me with confidence to what they are doing to my Fabia:( It needs new bumper, tailgate and boot floor?, I think the man said.

Depending on your age, whiplash can cause continuing problems unless treated at an early stage.

Many insurers now provide treatment to third parties and it might be worth asking them for physiotherapy straight away.

This is the what my car looked like the last time I saw it! Well, its been a looooong 2 weeks but my car might be ready either tomorrow or Friday!:orb_bounc

might have something to do with the fact that I have been a right pain, always ringing 'em up, ha ha, but I really need it, cos am starting a new job next week and its a training week and will be away and so cannot pick it up.

The boot floor isn't a separate section (or at least it wasn't on my octy) so if there is more than a dent that just needed knocking out it will mean cutting the floor out and welding a new section in.

This is pretty major work so when you get the car back check it all over very thoroughly and take all the carpets up to check

If your car has had significant repairs it will be worth less than one with no history so you can claim for the reduction in its value from the other persons insurance company. I did this when I was rear ended and got an extra grand.

If you go to trade the car in you will be asked if it's been in an accident and will be offered less if you say yes

A decent repairer will be happy to explain exactly what they have done and let you check it over fully.
