Folding and IE7 - Beware

There is a known compatibility problem with IE7 and the folding console client, I dont know if the GUI client is affected.

Basically if you have IE7 installed and have the console client configured to use "Internet explorer settings" then when the current WU is complete it wont be able to send the WU or get another one. The reason is that the client is confused by IE7s internet settings.

To get around this reconfigure the client to not use IE settings and manually configure the proxy server and proxy port settings.

I found this out when my pc wouldnt submit several WU's despite the server being alive. A quick trawl through the stanford forums yeilded the above.
