Used VRS - optional extras

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a nearly new VRS and wondered how likely a dealer would be to fit optional extras which were not originally specified?

The main one I'm after is cruise control.

I'd buy new but the lead time is a bit too long to be without a car, if I was to sell my current car privately.

cheers

Mark

Cruise can be retro fitted quite easily, see here

I am sure that there is something on vrstu's website. If you do a search it should come up. I think that cruise is the most specified opetional extra anyhow- so you may get lucky.

What is the rough lead time of a new Furby with a couple of options...e.g cruise and xenons... 12 weeks or so ???

Ordered in August and I'm getting one next Saturday - it's a painfull weight.

Most options are factory fit, not many are retro fit.

Passenger airbag deactivation, cruise and xenons seem to be common options, and of course metallic paint.

Least common I'd say is sunroof and sat nav.

Airbag deactivation switch, leather seats, cruise and sat nav can all be retrofitted pretty easily AFAIK ;)
