Please Help My Car Seats

Featured Replies

Hello

I have a Skoda Fabia vrs

I am having trouble removing watermarks from the seats

I have used Car Plan Interior Valet and Auto Glym Interior Shampoo,

They both remove the mark but am left with an even bigger watermark, am I doing anything wrong.

Any other suggestions

Does anyone now weather a valet would solve this problem, if so how much is it likely to cost

Any advice would be a great help

Cheers John

I use car plan interior valet too and have found if too much is put on then it marks. However, if you build up layers and rub it in with a soft plastic brisstle brush then it should be ok. The key is to not put too much on. Otherwise, its fine.

just what i did with mine.

might be worth extracting the stain rather than just wetting it.

Kids, rugby pitch, hour long car journey and light grey seats….

DO NOT MIX!!

Hoovered everything and cracked out the wet vac. Sprayed a seat at a time with AAA carpet and upholstery care and rubbed the worst bits with a work towel and extracted. Also did the door cards. All the hard plastics were then wiped down with a damp microfibre and left to dry.

Placed a dehumidifier in the boot for 24 hrs and sealed the car (shut the doors!)

Once dry Jeffs Werkstat Satin Prot was applied to the plastics.

Came out looking pretty good and every thing feels new again.
