Replacement engine cover inlays?

Featured Replies

Just wondered if anyone had replaced theirs? With a carbon fibre look one or something?

When I bought the Ibiza, the Seat badge was missing from the cover for some reason and it's starting to annoy me! I don't see any real reason to replace the whole cover, but would be interested in replacement/aftermarket inlays.

Thanks,

Steve

No, but youve started me thinking now. I might draw up some plans for a carbon fibre one with the skoda emblem engraved in it and get some prices fromfibre-lyte. I like the idea Steve

As long as they can switch between the Skoda and SEAT badges for the cover, I'm agreeing with you Mike! :D

Ahh, true! Might include some holes for the badges to clip into or just sod it and use some glue (less holes and no engraving will make a very cheap price.)

Really liking this mod idea now!!!!!

What about brushed aluminium???? that is what i have made my inlay out of and that looks pritty good, if i got it laser cut so it should be pritty cheap.

Yeah, does look good. Nice to see someone's done it :)

Would like one with the Seat logo and/or the 'Seat Sport' emblem etched into something like that :)

Where did you get yours cut/fabricated?
