we get 1.4 hours to do a 37.5k service on a Ford Mondeo TDCI , this includes oil+filter change , pollen filter , air filter , fuel filter , all wheels off to check the brakes etc and the usual lights wipers checks , so 4 hours does seem a bit excessive , do they do anything extra over and above what the Mondeo gets ?

oh and the Fabia service parts are easier too fit ,

Fabia pollen filter , 2 slide clips ------Mondeo , 3 screws lift up scuttle panel

Fabia oil filter , unscrew plastic cap lift out filter ---Mondeo , unscrew plastic cap , get pi$$ed on by oil dripping out as soon as loosened

Fabia air filter , 2 screws ---- Mondeo , 3 screws

Fabia fuel filter , 3 pipes + 1 clip ---- Mondeo , remove metal bracket , 3 pipes + 1 clip

Eh! No!

Oh sorry, spray lubed all hinges.

I also fitted an o/s wiper, as warning triangle almost fully exposed. (Personal choice n/s one replaced a couple of weeks ago as it was smearing screen even after being cleaned) not much difference eh?
