Bit of a weird one..... Just wondered if someone with a Furby vRS, (Preferably in black), Who has fitted the new style vRS badge from the Octy II to the rear of the car could post a pic of the back end of the car showing the new style badge under the 'FABIA' wording...... I just wanna try something and see what it'd look like.

VRStu did that to his old black Furby vRS, looked good imho. Not sure if there are any images on here though!.

Surely they'd not be that noticeable if you were to comapare another Fabia with the older style vRS badge?

Bear in mind that the mk2 style badge is bigger than the Fabia's original badge - therefore the badge will be wider than the Fabia lettering and it would look quite odd, imo.

Have a look at pre-facelift Fabia vRS photos and you'll see what I mean as they have the longer Mk1 badge.

I didn't know the fabia vRS had been facelifted? I had noticed the difference in badge length though. What other differences were there?

They were, but only some minor details, like rear lights etc.

That's the reason i want a piccy..... I've seen pics on here before and owners seem to position them so that they stick out at one end only...... My idea was to position the new vRS badge so that it was wider at both ends of the FABIA wording if you get mi drift..... Just wanted to alter a pic to see what it would look like.

I too am one of the one's like yourself that thinks the longer badge looks odd especially when level at one end and further out at the other.

Hope you catch what i'm getting at.

Another option...... Would you mind taking a pic square on of your new vRS badge on the back so i could photoshop it onto a piccy of the back of my car etc.....

IMO the Octavia vRS badge is too big. If youre adamant at fitting it, remove the Fabia badge first
