Having checked my handbook it says I should only put the G12 plus coolant in my vrs. Has anyone managed to buy this anywhere apart from their dealer?

I only have access to Halfords where I live and need to get some before friday.

Halfords sells stuff that is ok to use, it's a newer version of the spec in the handbook, and it is not called G12plus, but something slightly different.

I've been using the ready-mix stuff from Halfords to top up mine as I've got a problem with a coolant leak at the moment, really really annoying :(

you can buy from vw and seat and audi dealers too! it's not even expensive, iirc it's about £5 for 1.5litres.....

but if you are only topping up then just stick water in there, if you are going to WSM meet, i've got an unopened bottle of G12 i can bring alon with me?

the red 4 star coolant does the job perfectly I found as I have the dreaded coolant problem that remapped cars get :(
