Nice to be a member of Briskoda.

I bought my first Skoda way back in 1981, it was a S110R coupe (I loved it but the wife did'nt due to heavy steering), 2nd was an Estelle mk2 120glse in 1984. Since then I have had 3 Favorits 2 Felicias and 1 Fabia, from there I made the mistake of having a couple of Renaults, but now have returned to Skoda with an Octavia Elegance 1.6fsi.

I have had it since the end of July after 3 months waiting and I am very pleased with it overall.

I have noticed that there is tapping noises from the dash when cold but looking through this forum that I am not the only one to notice it, and the general concensus is that is the climatic control system so I won't be rushing back to skoda with it. It does pay to check in forums first before jumping to conclusions.

Any way as I said it's nice to be a member of such a well supported forum.
