Milltek + Xenons???

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

After searching through the threads abot Millteks and Blueflame exhausts, there doesn't seem to be any mention on whether they were fitted to cars with xenons or not.

The reason I ask is due to Milltek saying the exhausts are not suitable for cars with xenons due tot he sensor being on the rear axle, but when I had a look under the car there should still be room for a bigger pipe around that area?

Has anyone with xenons fitted an aftermarket exhaust to their furby, and did they have any problems?

Irf

Mine has Xenons and a full Milltek.

It was on when I bought it though, so I can't say if there were any problems in fitting it.

i think people have fitted them with xenons , but it is a pain to hang it so it doesn't foul the sensor on the axle , judicious bending of hanger brackets will be required

JBS fitted my turbo-back Milltek and I've got Xenons. Never had any problems, and I can still adjust the Xenons OK.

There were no problems mate. It fitted like a glove...:)

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like it'll either go on no probs or there'll be a slight adjustment to do around the sensor :)

It is a tight fit with a BF, you may need to adjust the heatshield a little.

There were no problems with the blueflame on mine. I had it fitted at Blueflame in Skelmersdale.

Very tight on the BF as Stu said, it took a lot of effort to stop it sliding out of position as well due to the brackets sliding around - clipped them up in the end...

Been fine since, but if you load the rear of the car up it does still hit :(
