I have started to get a hissing noise from the rear quarter light window.

It sounds like wind noise but can see no sign of where it is coming from.

Anyone else had a similar problem.

It's a known problem and requires a minor adjustment, your dealer should be able to help.

It's to do with re-aligning the rear quarter light.

Hi, i had a similar problem since some drunk idiot smashed into my parked car . Service replaced the back door (nice work) but the wind nose started on the back window (small one) . Service guy told me (after my complaint) that it's a comon problem with Octavias and that he know the way to fix such problem in no time. It took him an hour to put some sealant around the window and since then, the window become completely silant (as new). It's like that for the last three months (some 10,000km) - good work!

Coulld you take a photo and show to us where exactly service guy put extra sealant.
