Shots of the troublesome Fabia!

Featured Replies

Right, fed up with posting nothing but help requests for my rapidly crumbling motor. Thought I should introduce myself properly with some pics. Hope you like. 1.4 16v elegance BTW.:)Fabia014.jpgFabia010.jpgFabia025.jpg

In the six months we've had her..... Non functioning heated seat, steering sensor failed, window regulator failed, egr valve has failed, track rod end is on its way out, three brake light bulbs, one headlight bulb, rattling from engine, air-con failed...... and so on! It's only got 40'000 on the clock!!

Taken the shine off what has been for me the best all-rounder i've ever driven. And I've had a LOT of cars! Still looks tidy cleaned up though! :D

wow , aint had that many problems with my elegance! , your right it does look shiney:D

Yeah, it's not all bad. Went for a test drive in a VRS today and was blown away! Down to the girl friend though. It's a VRS or a Honda Jazz..... Not a tough choice as far as I'm concerned. Anybody want to give me some support??? :)

jazz is always driven by grandads at least the vrs i've seen is driven by younger people!! :)

Sounds like you had similar problems to my Elegance (1.9 TDI) but mine started happening at 60k miles (just when the warranty ran out). I like the Jazz, although I don't think I could bring myself to own one - too modern and funky for me

WHAT?!?! All the Fabia's round here are driven by OAP's, vRS's included!

Chris

It's all relative though Chris, younger than someone in a box isn't difficult! ;)

All the Jazz drivers round here look like coffin dodgers.

Jazz though, aerodynamics of a brick. Had one as a work hire car last year. Heading to Holyhead on the A55. Off the gas in a normal manner for the first of the numerous roundabouts. The damn thing deaccelerated so fast, I had to accelerate again to get to the roundabout :D
