When I pestered Haynes a year ago about the lack of a manual, they told me that they wouldn't even consider producing one until there were at least 50,000 vehicles of the type over three years old - presumably this level of production being just over the break-even cost for a compilation and print run. This idea also acknowledges that at this point, there will be sufficient numbers of vehicles outside mechanical warranty that people would consider doing their owning servicing and buy a manual in volume.

Extrapolating the info in the web article below would seem to bear out this proposition

Just a heads-up but I think there's a group buy going on for the Fabia manual :)

yeah, I mean there were only 995 Lupo GTI's imported lol

it's basically a Polo sans the boot, so most of the mechanical stuff is the same

I just bought my fabia haynes jobby ten minutes ago for 15.99 + 3.50 post off ebay :)
