fabia makes me sick

Featured Replies

has anyone who is new into a fabia Vrs noticed it makes them sick ... borrowed my brothers fabia Vrs to do a 400 mile round journey of which 90% was motorway (bit cheaper to run than my octy vrs) noticed after a while i started feeling what can only be described as sea sick was really odd my octy does'nt do it neither does my girlfriends lupo which has mega body roll.. i have put it down to the steering with it being speed sensative am i right in thinking its electronic power steering where as the octy aint

i got car sick for the 1st time in my mates corsa but thats mega low, never felt sea sick in the fabia my combi is a great motorway cruiser

I used to get seasick in my Felicia driving along the concrete bit of the M42, but the Fabia has always been fine.

well I find some air fresheners make me feel sick

the vanilla ones in particular

Just need to drive faster m8

you do have a point about the steering it is speed sensitive but all you need to do is drive real fast and you will probably get the hang of it

Just covered a 1,300 mile journey to Portugal (which is where i am now) Felt perfect. Must be the driver :D

i get sick if I'm the passenger and we are having a drive round twisties etc, but never feel sick when I'm driving.

I drove to Edinburgh and back this weekend (400miles ish). No sickness at all?! :D

Sometimes this can be caused by a build up of static electricity... fit one of those silly little carbon strips to earth it ;)

was the first time i have drove it a long way think it was the steering. It is more precise than the octy at high speeds so i was having to make more ajustments without really thinkin about it i don't have the same problem with it around town just on the motorway

Hi, i do 90 miles a day, Bradford to Bolton and back, cant say in my Fabia 1.9 SDI 'Y' Reg makes me feel sick, mind you cant get above 50 at 7am in the morning, hahahaha

you were probally followinf a older ford, you know the ones i mean... yup thats the one.... the one that comes with the 'Rotten Egg Smell' as standard

Thats the only time I feel sick... I could re-circulate the air, but the button is so far away, it seemed to much hassel....... so i overtake instead.... more fun that way.....

My swmbo and my mum both complain that the fabia vrs used to make them feel rough if they were in it longer then 20 minutes.

Swmbo used to say it gave her brain bruise.

Never had any ill feeling while driving it though.

I found the tiny 'twitch' at motorway speeds unpleasant but the strut brace cured that - maybe it was that?

SWMBO gets really car sick in the Superb but loves the Fabia and doesn't suffer at all.

Driving with the air-con on sometimes makes me drowsy and feel sick.

I plan to use one of the air-con cleaners in a can from Halfrauds to see if that makes any difference.

Absolutely no problems driving my 1.4 MPi , Ive never felt car sick in any of my 19 cars whilst driving them!
