What do I do now?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

This is my first post so please be gentle on me!

I own a '52 plate' Skoda Fabia 1.4 Classic. It has 32,000 on the clock. I have had it from new and had it fully serviced by Skoda during the 3 year warranty.

A few weeks ago my engine management light came on. I took it along to my local Skoda dealership. The fault came back as a purge value or related issue. They cleared the fault from the ECU and advised me to hope that it does not come on again.

Well, it did. Back to Skoda who then replaced the Purge Valve (

No idea, but good luck finding a solution. Welcome to the forum

Sorry to hear about your problems - hope you get them sorted soon!

i would take it back to the dealer that fitted the £100 part that hasn't fixed your fault and ask them to rectify it , also ring Skoda customer services and explain what has happened to see if they can get the dealer to sort it with some goodwill gesture

Hello All,

I am getting the same problem in my car. I just got the EMS erased yday and its now backon. Should I take it to Skoda dealer instead of local garage?

Thanks,

Vinayak
