help !!! beeping

Featured Replies

Hi People

Please can you assist me? both my father and own 54 plate fabia VRS', The problem with his furby is that when he starts the engine (quite regularly) it beeps

3 or 4 times and he says there are 2 warning lights on dash too.

As usual the dealer says this is normal. dont think so mine hasnt done it once!!

I'm a ex tech so told him to try no seatbelt, out of gear and clutch depressed but still happens ANY IDEAS?????????

Also on mine when engine idling with air con off it misses a beat every 10-15 seconds any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

:(

Which warning lights are illuminated?

Low temperature? Low washer level? Handbrake on when driving off?

Could also be low coolant, especially if it only does it when cold.

you don't need VAGCOM to disable the beep , just a jug of water will do

Always one clever git!

If it's the ABS and engine light it could be the same problem my Superb had, Faulty ABS control module = very expensive.
