Hello all,

The oil pressure light has just started to flash the odd time when I`m driving. It flashes and beeps then It goes away. It only appears the odd time. I have just organised selling the car so I dont want this to start beeping when the person comes to pick up the car. Any ideas? Its the 1.4 8v engine by the way.

I assume youve checked the oil level and it is fine?

My dad had a similar problem and also several stored faults on the ABS system. Turned out to be a known problem which required the engine bay loom to be changed.

Crap the oil level is low, what type of oil do I use for the 1.4m 8v?

My dealer puts GTX Magnatec in at service time , if thats any use!

As you are selling the car, then what duncan suggests should be fine for a topup.
