First post here and maybe looking at buying a new Octavia,Superb. This will be Taxi purposes so any cab drivers out there please feel free to air your views on both models. Also any recommendations on dealers in the South east area.

General consensus for all skoda TDIs, regardless of their application, is they keep going and going and going AND GOING!

1 million UK cab drivers can't be wrong. :P

I know of lots of taxi drivers who run Skodas. In fact, the first trip I had in one was instumental in getting me to think about an Octy, by not having Vw-style cast concrete seats!
