Can someone help me out?

I need to change the oil on my TDI and would like to know the refill capacity.

1.9tdi= 4.3

i think the haynes manual is telling porkies!!!!

i've just got my haynes manual and it has many errors in it.

the oil capacity of the 1.4pd engine is 3.8 litres

Well, my database says the following incl filter:

2001-2002 4.5L

2002 onwards 4.3L

right, i've been doing some digging around on this.....

it depends on which turbo it has fitted, and also what type of oil coiler it has.
