I'd like to change gearknob on my Octy2 2006, 6 speed. But, before I look for the aftermarket one I need to know how to remove the one I have. Is it a "screw-on", do I have to remove whole the leather surronding and then the gearknob or I just unscrew the gearknob?

Anyone changed the gearknob in Octy2?

There is obviously a rude word filter which objects to the perfectly inoffensive word ( the second half of gearknob)which has wide usage in English. However it is also one of dozens - if not hundreds? - of slang words for a certain defining portion of male anatomy

The surround just pulls up and underneath you should have a clamp similar to a hose clamp. These need to be replaced for refitting.
