Right im in desperate need of some magic briskoda help!!!!!

I recently purchased a skoda MFD DX, and i've fitted it witha plug and play adaptor.............it all seems to be working correctly, BUT the sat nav won't pick up any satelites, it did briefly near the begining bu then that was it..... Is it to do with the position of the gps antenna within the car. Myns on the ledge above the unit, behind the row of buttons (that has your rear window heater on it). Any suggestions guys would be great, it's really starting to **** me off!!!!!!

I would say it is an aerial problem yes.

Most of the antenna supplied with the eBay stuff are magnetic and designed for use on the roof and hence use the roof as part of the antenna.

Try moving it to the very right corner of the dash, I have fitted one there and it works ok.
