Picked up my first Skoda today, a red mk1 Octavia VRS on a 54 plate. I stumbled accross this site whilst researching the purchase and I'm amazed by the following Skoda have here.

So far I'm loving the car - feels great to drive as it is, I'm going to leave it in standard form for the time being but will probably end up modifying it sooner rather than later! Hoping to get along to some meets etc if there are some happening in West Yorkshire so might see some of you soon!

There is a Lancs/Yorks mini meet at the Turnpike Inn near Ripponden this coming Thurs (14th Dec) and the second Thurs of every month....

The Turnpike one's not too far from where I live - if I don't make it to Thursday's minimeet I'll be at the one after. How many people usually turn up? Do you all meet in the carpark?

Last September my Kamiq 1.5 DSG 2020reg (regularly serviced) displayed 'Gearbox in Emergency Mode'. Very near home so able to limp home. Dealer took it in and fixed it under extended warranty. All okay until a month ago when it happened again, this time far from home. Switched off the car, restarted and all back to normal and drove perfectly. Yesterday it happened again and only D2 available. Started car today, no problem, all working, no warning sign. I'll be contacting the dealer again

Hi Skoda enthusiasts, Although there are quite a few topics similar to this one already on the forums, please allow me to ask - my 2014 Octavia Combi currently has a 4 spoke steering wheel with no MF buttons. I have cruise control on my left stalk and control the small screen on the dash from the right stalk. I wanted to upgrade to a three-spoke steering wheel, just for the looks - I found one for a fair price, but wanted to ensure it would fit. The part number is 3V04190

Evening, just looking to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue as me with my Karoq 1.5 Tsi (73 plate)…. So the car has perhaps half a dozen times or more cut out completely when slowing down, no stall / kangaroo or otherwise, power simply gone, resulting in me having to restart the car when in a rolling motion. Very unnerving especially with traffic approaching. I’ve tried to recreate the event on quiet roads with no success so I’ve no idea what action causes this. I had thought

Hi all, I’m trying to find someone to remove component protection from a gateway module in/around Liverpool / North west. Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures.
