Hi all,

Pretty new to this forum and skoda ownership too so i hope someone can help. I have a Fabia 1.4 16v (2000) which i love except for a very intermittent sudden loss of power and revs. It lasts for only half a second and revs come back up. It has happenned only about 10 times in the past 3 months and it always happens twice within a few minutes usually at speed on the motorway. It has been to the dealer to try and sort it out under warranty (now expired) They have replaced the Crank position sensor and the EGR valve/sensor on different occasions but the fault is reoccurring.

I have searched and found a couple of threads about this fault but people seem to have sold their cars before fixing it! I love the car and want at least a few more years before selling so has anyone actually fixed this or just put up with it?

Any help would be great.
