well heres my story friday night with my birthday comming up and am gettin pd160 intake and green cotton filter so decided to just have a little look under bonnet and check air box to see what filter was like as you do so.... as i got top of air box off realise that my car has got ITG panel filter on it previous owner must of put it on.

But what my querie was are these any good or should i still go and buy green cotton filter when i get my PD160intake or just stick with this for the time being

Thanks

As you asked for opinions, I would not get a Green panel filter as the majority I've seen are a poor fit in the Fabia's air box and do not seal it properly. I ran an ITG on my Scooby and never had any problems with it, but if you're set on replacing it, I'd be looking at a K&N over a Green any day :D

Panel filters are much of a muchness and won't really buy you anything above and beyond a paper filter replaced every 10k, aside from the fact they can be cleaned :D

:)

If you already got a panel filter , then " You Lucky B", keep it and just keep it cleaned regularly.

Put the money towards another mod :)

exactly my thoughts mate :)

Stick with the foam filter - just get a cleaning kit for it.
