hi all, just been lookin on a on an old thread about brake lights staying on when every thing has been switched off, and have found an answer.

Is fitting a new brake switch an diy job or a dealer job?

any idea`s how much as well as things are tight at the mo?

have a look on my fabia site for info on the brake switch.

Its an easy job i had one go on me old vrs.

i carnt find the receipt but i think it cost about 20 quid.

when i went to buy the part there were 2 different kinds a 4 pin and a six pin plug i think.

It can be tricky for a complete novice to fit ... but for £20 it's probably worth a go
