VAG-COM Headache...

Just decided that its prob worth getting VAG-COM as i plan on keeping my Octy for at least 4 years but, just had a look at the ross-tech site and at cables on ebay and i'm as confused as hell...

The car is a sept 1999 SLX TDI estate, any advice any one???

or a cheapo cable and a license for $99

Hello. My 2014 Octavia 1.8 4x4 has developed a strange issue. There is a vibration coming from the rear of the car when driving. It feels like if there was severe unbalance, or a flat spot on the tires. I have however ruled out this possibility, by first having the wheels rebalanced, and then having the tires replaced. With no change. Symptoms: - Heavy vibration from rear of car. (No steering wheel vibration) - Can sometimes be felt from 20kmh. Frequency increases with wheel

Guten Morgen, I want to upgrade the Mib 1 unit in my car with canton Sound System, i have a mib 2 unit & the amplifier, and the usb for carplay, does anyone know or have any recommendations where i could send the parts i have to have the component protection removed. & make the parts work on my car. Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode

So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.
