where is located aux input jack

when i read my radio manual i can see:

"Your radio has an external input allowing playback from other audio sources. The input is active if..."

so i am wondering:

1. Where is located that aux input

2. "external input", does it mean that i can (when connected to aux in) play from other devices, such as, usb mp3, pocket mobile or similiar...

It will be in the jumbo box between the front two seats, assuming you actually have one fitted. It can be connected to mp3 players, iPods etc. via the appropriate connector, but it doesn't offer any control through the stereo other than volume.

HTH. :)

it isn't inside this like shown on this pic:

check the car spec sheet in a brochure then. as your spec car may not have the aux input given it is not an elegance spec or the car was built without it depending on locale spec (uk spec different from france etc).

It was a 2007MY addition.

If it's not inside the jumbo box then I doubt you have it.

Can I add another question to this thread? I use a HiMD recorder and I was wondering if someone could tell me what cable I need to connect it to the AUX input in my jumbo box?

I'm assuming just a 3.5mm audio jack to 3.5mm audio jack... similar size to the head phone socket.

Yep it's just a normal headphone jack.

Yep. Got a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack cable the other day and it works fine.
