The rear drivers side door on my 07 Fabia VRS seems to require two pulls to open it, wheras all the other doors only require one. Has anyone come across this before?

I unlock all of the doors by pressing the fob unlock button twice, then open the rear passenger side door with just one pull ok, but when trying the drivers side door it needs two pulls to open it! :confused:

If I lock all the doors when Im inside, and some one gets out - they have to pull the handle twice. The first is to unlock and the second is to open.

Perhaps this is what is happening with yours?

Yes this is exactly what it is like, but from the outside! (and only on the one door)

sounds like a dealer job to me , PEMBOs explaination was why i asked inside or outside , because depending on how the locking has been set up at the factory/dealers , all the doors will unlock with one press or just the drivers door with one press then the other doors with the second press

but if its the outside handle that has to be pulled twice there could be a problem with that lock/latch/motor assembly
