Featured Replies

Need some more space and after 3 months I realise I need sometihng bigger, a baby and all the gear take up sooooo much room. Looking at either the Audi A4/A6 saloon or avant. So need to sell my car.

Yours has some useful options which would add a few hundred quid to the trade in. If it's a good tidy car I'd be aiming at 7.5k as a trade in against a suitably priced Audi

You might get a better px on an Octy II vRS 170 diesel which may soften the blow a bit.

Cheers guys, I'd like a Vrs Octy tdi but can't really afford one, I've seen a nice spec A6 V6 tdi for 7k, done a 100k though but it has FSH and to be honest has at least another 100k+ left in the engine, also seen an A4 130tdi for 7.5k but with 64k on the clock, tempted more by the A4 as it's newer and has 6 airbags.

i was quoted £7k for my March 04VRS , at 38k miles without cruise, side airbags or CD changer , so the price is about right thereabouts

Are you fixed on going for an Audi? Or perhaps an Octavia would be suitable. I think there'd be as much space in one as an A4, and you get the added flexibility of the hatch.

7k should see you in a 53 or 04 plate TDi 130 Elegance, with 40k on it, as a rough estimate?
