Laptop Recommendations?

Featured Replies

I am contemplating buying a laptop!

I will still keep my desktop as I will use this for converting my audio cassettes to mp3 (hardware is internal!).

I will probably remove most of my stuff from the desktop and install a few games, apps for my Mrs and wee girl to use.

I will want the laptop for the following uses mostly:

  • Email
  • Surfing - needs to be wireless!
  • P2P downloads
  • video conversion - for watching on PSP
  • Watching DVDs
  • MP3s

I will also require DVD burning (prefer + and -R but one would do).
