switching headlights for driving on the left

Featured Replies

Hello all again

i already ask how to change the complete headlight unit but when i was looking at my new lights i saw a couple of screw thing on the back that appear to change angle of the reflector at the rear of the low beam and was wondering if this is to change the beam angle for driving on the continent(ie Germany) can any one give me some advise as if it the case iv just spent 100 quid on lights i don't need:confused:

thanks for any helps

Yes it does but....

It doesnt actually make lights legal for continentail use. All it does it knock off the high point of the beam so it doesnt dazzle on coming drivers. If checked the beam pattern wont meet MOT/TUV regulations but it ok for temporary use.

There are several threads on this subject already in this forum. In an advanced search type in 'headlight adjustment' and select 'New Octavia' in the forum search and you should find all the information you want.
