Where To Get Car Serviced

Featured Replies

Its coming up to that time of year and I ll need to get my car serviced.

Just wondering where other Briskodinas get theirs serviced - Basically I d like a half decent garage as I want to keep my service manual up to date.

Thanks guys

This site is awesome - Will definitely be checking it out more often

Would be easier if we knew where you were.

I got mine serviced at Star Performance as I have a severe mistrust of dealers. Couldn't fault the work carried out or the cost.

Not Scotland :D

Just outside London - Near Watford

Any good local independent garage - providing they are VAT registered & use Skoda parts they can stamp your book (for warranty claims etc). I believe there's some EU Directive about this.

I'm near Manchester, used the same independent for over 12 years. The level of service is outstanding from a two man crew - mind you one used to race bikes, then cars. The younger has had Supra turbo, Evo 5 etc - and serviced them himself i.e. they really know their stuff.

Ask friends, family and you'll be able to get fixed up locally - cost you a damn sight less than main dealers as well (will most probably give you a better service technically than some apprentice) and quite often local garages will fix it while you wait.

I've got mine 'trained up' well - I always tip them (throwback to taxiing days when it was essential to keep car on road). Amazing how they'll pull out the stops for you if you do this.
