Haynes Manual and rear ARB

Featured Replies

Hope everyone had a good Christmas? Santa got me a Haynes manual for christmas and as I was reading through the various sections. I noticed a small paragraph titled "rear anti-roll bar" Now, this baffled me, as I thought the Fabia was not fitted with one on the rear. It does not say whether it is model specific though?

The paragraph goes like this

'The rear anti-roll bar runs along the length of the rear axle beam. It is an itegral part of the axle assembly, and cannot be removed. If the anti-roll bar is damaged, which is unlikely, the complete axle must be renewed'

Can anyone shed any light on this please??

Very odd. Didnt think there was one!!

Looks like a plain bug :D

the rear beam set up of the Fabia and other VAG vehicles is a sort of roll bar , in that it allows a certain amount of twist between the the 2 wheels

the Jabba ARB is an add-on part to help stiffen the rear beam even more
