On depressing the clutch there is a shh shh noise.

55 Plate Fabia VRS.

Any ideas.

the noise is from where on the vehicle ?

inside the car , in the engine bay ?

does the clutch still operate correctly ?

Warranty job.

It sounds like its coming from other side of bulkhead around foot area.

Already been back they replaced washer on suspension and said it was that.

Thing is we (Wifes car, I drive with stereo on) didnt hear it till it was in for warranty work on seats and they replaced some suspension components for fun at same time?

Would happily keep taking it back but dealer is 30 mile (1hr away) since local dealers all closed early 2006.

I told her to wait till spring as will be due another service then.

Could be the clutch slave cylinder being a bit noisy. Might be worth having the fluid changed and the system bled as air in there can make it a bit noisier.

I know from bleeding my 318iS recently. Air in the pipes made them whoosh when the missus pressed the clutch pedal.

sure it's the clutch? Mine's making a similar noise that I initially thought was the clutch, but then realised it was the accompanying decceleration and acceleration making the noise. Still don't know what it is though lol.
