Hi all

Featured Replies

I'm new to this website but have owned 5 Skodas in 14 years :), the latest being a lovely red Fabia! While on the subject of the Fabia, does anybody know where the oil filter is hidden? My Dad is going to change the oil and filter for me, but we can't find it! Thanks. A happy New Year to all

Welcome to Briskoda :)

I'm sure someone with a Fabia will be able to help you soon!

Hi, greetings for the fifth Skoda, where are you from? Tell sth about the other 4 skodas you've owned

Hello and welcome.

Which engine is it?

Generally the filter is down the front of the engine, with a great big hex fitting on top of it - 32mm from memory. The petrols may be different. Kind of looks like a cylinder shape with a black cap on top, and this 6 sided hex shape. :) Hope that helps.

Oh. and welcome.

Hmmm, been looking at the oil filter setups on my parts CD. The diesels are as above, as is the 1.2 petrol from what I can tell, but the 1.4 engines look a little different.

Welcome :wavey:
